Worship means much more than the songs that we sing. However, singing is one of the specific ways God wants us to worship Him. Therefore, at Northside we seek to sing songs to honor, glorify and praise our great God. The worship ministry provides musical leadership for all of our Sunday gatherings as well as other special events in the life of our church.
Our 9:15 am and 10:30 am Sunday worship is led by Northside’s worship family. This may involve a variety of vocal groups, rhythm section, and wind & string instruments. This worship time seeks to be a blended musical style that is both rich and biblically faithful.
Our rehearsals each week are assigned based on need; however, our rehearsal time is from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm on Sunday afternoon. The rehearsals are set up to coincide with the morning service time that you currently attend. For example, if you attend the 9:15 am worship service and would like to play with the orchestra, your rehearsal would begin at 4:00 pm and end at 5:15 pm. If you attend the 10:30 am worship service, your rehearsal would begin at 4:45 pm and end promptly at 6:00 pm. This allows us to work together for a brief time on upcoming special events.
